alu-cab-rc-ig-w
Alu-Cab Silenus Roof Conversion — INEOS Grenadier, Scottish White

Short Product Summary

The Alu-Cab Silenus is a pop-top roof conversion made for the INEOS Grenadier, in the Scottish White version. It takes the place of the original Grenadier roof and gives you a bed for two, with room to stand inside once the bed is stowed.

Why This Product

A Grenadier already handles rough tracks, but a night in the cab or a ground tent is a compromise on a longer trip. A pop-top roof gives the vehicle its own raised sleeping area, and the bedding can stay inside when the roof is closed, so packing up is quick and one person can manage it.

Key Features

Pop-top roof for two – sleeps two and gives you standing room inside when the bed is stowed

Rear bed section – a small section at the back lets you get into the tent without waking anyone who is already asleep

Double-layer 400gsm canvas – UV-resistant and rip-block with sealed seams, plus a roll-up fly sheet for extra weather cover

Built-in lights and charging – one roof LED, two interior LEDs, two USB and two USB-C ports, with kill switches to stop battery drain on stand-by

Solar-ready roof – integrated Anderson plugs sit in the roof for a solar hookup

Accessory mounting – roof Molle plates, double nutslots on both sides and integrated cargo rails for load bars

Ideal For

INEOS Grenadier owners who want a sleeping space built into the vehicle instead of a separate tent

Couples on longer trips the roof sleeps two and keeps bedding inside

Owners planning solar or extra accessories the roof already has Anderson plugs, Molle plates and nutslots to build on

Local Support from 4Matt Campers

Our Cape Town team can talk you through the fitting process, finish and lead time for a Silenus on your Grenadier.

Technical Specifications

Brand: Alu-Cab

Part Number: RC-IG-W

Vehicle: INEOS Grenadier, with or without auxiliary roof power points

Colour: Scottish White

Sleeps: 2

Mattress / interior dimensions: 2588mm (L) x 1180mm (W) x 72mm (H)

Weight (including mattress): approx. 147 kg

Original Grenadier roof weight: 17 kg

Load rating: 50 kg

Material: Aluminium construction

Canvas: 400gsm UV-resistant, rip-block, double-layer with sealed seams

Lighting: 1 x roof LED light, 2 x interior LEDs

Power: 2 x USB and 2 x USB-C ports, with kill switches

Solar: Integrated Anderson plugs in roof

Optional Fitment / Upgrade Notes

Before you order, check the following:

This is the Scottish White version for the INEOS Grenadier; the Silenus also comes in black.
