They shield the panels below the doors and give you a solid step for climbing in or reaching the roof.

Why This Product

An older 70 Series still gets taken to the same rough places as a new one, and the factory sill is just as exposed to a rock or a washout. The Premium Rock Sliders sit at the chassis and take that hit first, while doubling as a step so you are not relying on the tyre to get up to the load bed or roof rack.

Key Features

Chassis-mounted build – built heavy for harsh terrain, mounted at the chassis rather than the sill

Rock and rut cover – shields the sills and the panels beneath them from rocks, ruts and trail hazards

Side step – doubles as a step for reaching the load bed or roof rack

High-lift jack point – sits on the slider itself, giving you somewhere solid for a high-lift jack

Corrosion-resistant coating – steel is degreased, acid-etched and phosphate treated, then powder coated in-house

QR-coded fitting guide – hold your phone up to it for the fitting instructions and kit list

Ideal For

Pre-2024 70 Series owners keeping an older Land Cruiser trail-ready

Overlanders covering remote ground who'd rather the chassis took the knock than the factory sill

Drivers who load from the side often and want a proper step instead of the tyre

Local Support from 4Matt Campers

Our Western Cape team can confirm these sliders suit your pre-2024 Land Cruiser before you order.

Technical Specifications

Brand: Gobi-X

Part Number: GX/RSL/01

Vehicle Fitment: Toyota Land Cruiser 70 Series Double Cab (pre-2024)

Mounting: Chassis-mounted

Step: Bolt-on side step

Jacking Point: Integrated high-lift jack point

Finish: Corrosion-resistant powder coat over a degreased, acid-etched, phosphate-coated surface

What's Included

Full fitment instructions

QR code linking to fitting instructions and a fitting kit list

Optional Fitment / Upgrade Notes

Before ordering, please confirm the following with us:

The Land Cruiser 79 Series comes in 4.2L, V6 and V8 versions, each with its own Gobi-X sliders, so check your engine and model year with us before you order.

These sliders are listed for the pre-2024 Double Cab.
