It has a 3mm bent aluminium body with stainless steel used for the cross bars and wear points. It suits Single, Extra and Double Cab tray systems from Predator.

Why This Product

Gear carried on an open tray is exposed to dust and rain, and loose tools and camping kit are awkward to organise. A canopy encloses that space. This one uses aluminium to keep weight down, with stainless steel added only where the loads concentrate, at the mounting points and in the wear areas, and it comes with internal molle panels for organised storage.

Key Features

3mm bent aluminium body – rigid but light, so the canopy adds less weight to the tray

Stainless steel where loads are highest – 3CR12 cross bars and corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel hinges

Internal gullwing molle panels – included, for organised storage inside the canopy

Internal floor-mounted cross bars – made from 3CR12 stainless steel

Black Ferrograin powder coating – a textured finish that resists scratches and UV

Bolt-on mounting – fixes to a Predator tray with no cutting or drilling

Ideal For

Work and fleet users who need an enclosed space for tools and equipment

Touring and off-grid owners carrying camping gear out of the weather

Predator tray owners building an enclosed, organised load space on the tray

Local Support from 4Matt Campers

Our team in the Western Cape can quote the canopy together with a Predator tray system, and check which cab size and tray you are fitting it to.

Technical Specifications

Brand: Predator Offroad

Part Number: AC-TR-CL

Fits: Predator Offroad tray systems only

Body types: Double Cab, Extra Cab, Single Cab

Length: 1575 mm

Material: 3CR12 stainless steel, Aluminium 1050

Construction: 3mm bent aluminium body; 3CR12 stainless steel cross bars; 304 stainless steel hinges

Finish: Black Ferrograin powder coating

Fitment: Bolt-on; no cutting or drilling

Manufacture: Designed and made locally

What's Included

Internal gullwing molle panels

Internal floor-mounted cross bars in 3CR12 stainless steel

Optional Fitment / Upgrade Notes

This canopy is made for Predator Offroad tray systems only and will not go onto a standard load bin, so you need a Predator tray underneath it.

Confirm the tray underneath is a Predator Single Cab, Extra Cab or Double Cab tray system.

Mounting is bolt-on, with no cutting or drilling listed; ask us to confirm the fitting for your cab size.

Ask us to confirm the loading limits for your set-up and vehicle before you pack it.

Complete Your Setup

Start with a Predator tray system to carry the canopy, then browse the Predator Offroad range and camping accessories for the kit you will pack inside.

FAQ

Can I fit this canopy to a standard load bin?
No. It is made for Predator Offroad tray systems only.
