The supplied 3AWG leads are short on purpose. If you extend them, step the gauge up rather than down and refit an appropriately rated fuse at the battery end. A DC fuse or breaker between the bank and the inverter is not optional on a 2000W unit. The chassis must be properly earthed to the vehicle.
