Frequently asked questions
Is it a drop-in replacement for my lead-acid battery?
Yes — it fits a standard battery box and replaces a lead-acid or AGM of similar size, giving you far more usable capacity at a fraction of the weight (9 kg).
Can I charge it with my Victron / solar setup?
Yes — use any quality lithium-profile charger (Victron MPPT, DC-DC or AC) set to a LiFePO₄ profile. It accepts up to 60 A continuous charge.
What can it run, and for how long?
A typical 12V fridge drawing ~3–5 A runs well over a day on 100Ah of lithium (all of it usable). Add lights and USB and it's an easy weekend off-grid — longer with solar topping up.
Can I connect two in parallel?
Yes — like-for-like Adventure-X batteries can be wired in parallel for more capacity. Ask us to spec the cabling and fusing.
Does it charge in the cold?
The BMS allows charging from 0°C to 65°C and discharging from −10°C to 65°C, protecting the cells in low temperatures.
