Frequently asked questions
Is it a drop-in replacement for my lead-acid bank?
Yes — it replaces lead-acid/AGM in a similar footprint and gives you far more usable capacity at a fraction of the weight (12 kg).
Can I charge it with my Victron / solar setup?
Yes — use any quality lithium-profile charger (Victron MPPT, DC-DC or AC) set to a LiFePO₄ profile. It accepts up to 100 A continuous charge for fast recharging.
What can it run, and for how long?
230Ah comfortably runs a 12V fridge for several days, or a fridge plus lights and a modest inverter across a long weekend — all fully usable. Pair with solar for indefinite off-grid.
Can I connect two in parallel?
Yes — like-for-like Adventure-X batteries can be wired in parallel for even more capacity. Ask us to spec the cabling and fusing.
Does it charge in the cold?
The BMS allows charging from 0°C to 65°C and discharging from −10°C to 65°C, protecting the cells in low temperatures.
