Alu-Cab ModCAP Family Tent Kit — Toyota Land Cruiser 79

Short Product Summary

This is the tent mounting kit that lets the Alu-Cab ModCAP Family camper sit on a ModCAP base made for the Toyota Land Cruiser 79. It is the Land Cruiser version of the kit, covering the double cab (OEM) and the short-bed model with front coil springs. The camper above it sleeps up to four adults.

Why This Product

A ModCAP base can carry a lot more than cargo. When two of you outgrow a small sleeping set-up, the ModCAP Family mounts onto the base you already own and adds just under 5 square metres of bed for kids, dogs or friends along for the trip. Each vehicle group needs its own mounting kit, and this one is matched to the Land Cruiser 79.

Key Features

• Mounts to your existing ModCAP base – the family tent goes on a base you may already own
• Sleeps up to four adults – the sleeping area measures 2 m x 2.4 m
• Side-opening roof – opens out sideways for a big bed and still leaves room for roof-mounted gear
• Skylight and vents – a built-in skylight plus air and heater vents
• Split bed sections – with access to the interior
• Lights and power – LED lights on their own switches, plus USB, Type C and car lighter ports

Ideal For

• Land Cruiser 79 owners with a ModCAP base who want to add family-sized sleeping space
• Families and friends travelling together who need a bed for up to four adults
• Owners stepping up from a ModCAP canopy since the tent is designed to grow with the existing base
