A ceiling-mounted air distribution box used with a Dometic Freshjet rooftop air conditioner to route conditioned air into the vehicle's interior. This is explicitly the older-version box, sold as a stand-alone spare — the air conditioner itself is not included.
Why This Product
A rooftop Freshjet air conditioner needs a distribution box inside the ceiling to direct air into the cabin, and that box can wear out, crack, or get damaged independently of the rooftop unit. THR Outdoor list this specific one as the 'old version', so it's aimed at owners needing to match their existing setup rather than upgrade to Dometic's current distribution box.
Key Features
- Genuine Dometic Freshjet air distribution box
- Fits inside the vehicle ceiling, connecting to the rooftop Freshjet unit
- Sold as the older-version distribution box (not Dometic's current design)
- Air conditioner not included — distribution box only
Ideal For
- Replacing a cracked or damaged original Freshjet distribution box
- Matching an existing older-generation Freshjet installation
- Owners who need the interior air-routing box, not the rooftop unit itself
Local Support from 4Matt Campers
We're based in Bellville, Cape Town, and supply this part across the Western Cape and Cape Town. Because Dometic has changed its Freshjet distribution box design over time, contact us to confirm this older-version box matches your exact rooftop unit before ordering — we'd rather check than have you order the wrong one.

FAQ
Does this include the rooftop air conditioner?
No, this listing is the interior air distribution box only. The Freshjet rooftop unit is a separate purchase.
Why is it called the 'old version'?
The supplier lists it as an earlier design, distinct from Dometic's current Freshjet distribution box. Contact us to confirm it matches your existing installation.
Will this fit my Freshjet unit?
We recommend contacting us with your exact Freshjet model before ordering, since we couldn't confirm a specific compatibility list for this older version.
