The Gobi-X Sump & Front Diff Bash Plate bolts underneath the new-generation Ford Ranger to shield the sump and front differential from rocks and stumps. It's built from marine-grade aluminium, so it adds protection without piling on weight.
On a rutted track or a rocky climb, the sump and front differential are usually the first things to make contact with the ground, and a hard knock can mean an oil leak or a cracked housing a long way from a workshop. This plate sits between those components and the terrain, bolted straight onto the Ranger's own chassis mounts.
Our team helps Ford Ranger owners across the Western Cape fit the right underbody protection before a big trip.

Will this bash plate fit my Ranger?
It's designed for the new-generation Ford Ranger from 2023 onwards. Confirm your model year with us before ordering.
What is the plate made from?
Marine-grade aluminium — 5182-grade alloy, which is lighter than a comparable steel plate.
How does it fit?
It bolts directly to the factory chassis mounting points, with no modifications required.
Can I add more underbody protection later?
Yes, this plate is designed to work alongside other Gobi-X underbody protection products.
