The Holdfast Light Duty Cam Straps use a quick-release cam buckle to tie down everyday loads where a full ratchet strap is overkill. Rated to 300kg, they come in 2m or 3m lengths with a 19mm or 25mm buckle width.
Cranking a ratchet strap down on a surfboard or a fishing rod risks tightening past the point the gear can take. A cam buckle tensions by hand instead, so soft or lighter loads like boards, rods and bikes get held firmly without the risk of over-tightening that comes with a ratchet.
Our South Africa team can help you choose the right length and width for your gear.
These straps suit soft loads, so check these points before ordering:

What can I secure with these straps?
A board or SUP riding on the roof rack, fishing rods heading out to the water, several bikes bundled together, camping gear and dry bags loaded onto a trailer, or a kayak or canoe for the trip.
How much weight can they hold?
300kg.
Should I use a cam strap or a ratchet strap?
Cam straps suit soft loads where over-tightening could cause damage. Once you're past 300kg, or the item is rigid, reach for a ratchet strap instead.
What lengths and widths are available?
2m or 3m lengths, with a 19mm or 25mm buckle width.
