A roof rack built to suit the Toyota Hilux GD6 Double Cab Travo from 2026 onwards, designed and made locally by Predator Offroad from 3CR12 stainless steel with a black Ferrograin powder coat. It is rated at 270 kg static and 120 kg dynamic for a rooftop tent, recovery gear and camping equipment.
A new-generation Hilux deserves a rack that matches its shape. This rack is made for the Travo Double Cab, sits low to suit the modern styling, and gives you a stainless steel platform for extra gear on the roof.
Our team in the Western Cape can quote the rack with fitment, check it against your Travo, and add Predator accessories to the same quote.
This rack is specific to the Hilux GD6 Travo Double Cab. The roof has to be drilled and the roof liner taken out during installation, so we recommend professional fitting.
Browse the Predator roof racks and the wider Predator Offroad range, then add a rooftop tent, an awning or some recovery gear to the roof.
Does this rack fit older Hilux models?
No. It is made for the GD6 Travo Double Cab from 2026 onwards. Earlier Hilux generations use different racks, so tell us your vehicle and we will confirm the right one.
Can I fit a rooftop tent?
Yes. The 270 kg static rating applies when the vehicle is parked, which is when a tent carries its sleepers. While driving, keep the total within the 120 kg dynamic rating.
Does installation need drilling?
Yes. Predator lists drilling and roof liner removal for this rack, so professional installation is the sensible route.
Why is the dynamic rating lower than the static rating?
The dynamic figure is what the rack carries while the vehicle is moving, and the static figure is what it supports when parked, so the two are different numbers.
