Short Product Summary

A roof rack built to suit the Toyota Hilux GD6 Double Cab Travo from 2026 onwards, designed and made locally by Predator Offroad from 3CR12 stainless steel with a black Ferrograin powder coat. It is rated at 270 kg static and 120 kg dynamic for a rooftop tent, recovery gear and camping equipment.

Why This Product

A new-generation Hilux deserves a rack that matches its shape. This rack is made for the Travo Double Cab, sits low to suit the modern styling, and gives you a stainless steel platform for extra gear on the roof.

Key Features

  • 3CR12 stainless steel – corrosion-resistant construction for dust, mud and weather
  • Black Ferrograin powder coating – a textured finish that stands up to daily use
  • CNC-bent and laser-cut – precise parts so the rack lines up with the roof
  • Low-profile design – keeps a clean look while leaving usable loading space
  • 120 kg dynamic rating – covers jerry can holders, recovery gear, awnings, cargo bags and bicycles on the move
  • 270 kg static rating – supports a rooftop tent and elevated camping setup when parked

Ideal For

  • New Travo owners who want a rack that matches the 2026+ Double Cab from day one
  • Overlanders who plan to run a rooftop tent, awning and recovery gear
  • Weekend campers and caravan towers who need extra carrying space on the roof
  • Tradespeople who carry tools and work equipment on the roof

Optional Fitment / Upgrade Notes

This rack is specific to the Hilux GD6 Travo Double Cab. The roof has to be drilled and the roof liner taken out during installation, so we recommend professional fitting.

  • Confirm your vehicle is a 2026+ Hilux GD6 Travo Double Cab; earlier Hilux models use different racks.
  • Keep your total roof load within the 120 kg dynamic rating while driving, and check your vehicle's own roof limit as well.
  • Plan awning, jerry can and recovery gear positions before fitting.
  • Ask us to confirm fit before the vehicle goes in for installation.

Complete Your Setup

Browse the Predator roof racks and the wider Predator Offroad range, then add a rooftop tent, an awning or some recovery gear to the roof.

FAQ

Does this rack fit older Hilux models?
No. It is made for the GD6 Travo Double Cab from 2026 onwards. Earlier Hilux generations use different racks, so tell us your vehicle and we will confirm the right one.

Can I fit a rooftop tent?
Yes. The 270 kg static rating applies when the vehicle is parked, which is when a tent carries its sleepers. While driving, keep the total within the 120 kg dynamic rating.

Does installation need drilling?
Yes. Predator lists drilling and roof liner removal for this rack, so professional installation is the sensible route.

Why is the dynamic rating lower than the static rating?
The dynamic figure is what the rack carries while the vehicle is moving, and the static figure is what it supports when parked, so the two are different numbers.
