A 266Wh (72,000mAh) lithium power bank with two USB-C Power Delivery ports at 60W and 27W, a USB-A port, a 10W wireless charging pad and a 12V cigarette-lighter socket. It recharges from a 100W solar panel in three to four hours, and at 266Wh it sits in the gap between a phone power bank and a full power station — small enough to carry into a tent, big enough to run a CPAP machine overnight or a 12V fridge for around 16 hours. Being over 100Wh, it cannot be taken on an aircraft.
Most campers own the wrong size of battery for the job. A pocket power bank runs out on day one, and a 1kWh power station is heavy, expensive and mostly idle. At 266Wh this Renogy unit lands where a lot of real trips actually sit: phones, cameras, headlamps, a drone, a laptop, a Starlink dish for a couple of hours, and — critically for many people — a CPAP machine through the night without touching the caravan house bank.
The 60W USB-C PD port is the modern part. It charges a laptop properly rather than trickling it, and the second USB-C port runs at 27W for a phone at full speed at the same time. There is also a 12V cigarette socket, which is what makes this useful in a South African caravan rather than just a laptop bag — it will drive a 12V fridge, a compressor tyre inflator, camp lights or a CPAP adapter directly on DC without an inverter and without the conversion losses that come with one.
It has a second life at home. During load shedding it keeps the router, laptops and phones going for hours without a word, and it recharges off a wall socket, a 60W PD charger or a solar panel afterwards. Plenty of our customers buy it for camping and end up valuing it more between trips than on them.
The honest framing: 266Wh is roughly the equivalent of a 22Ah battery at 12V. It is a genuinely useful reserve, not a house bank. It will not run an air conditioner, a kettle or a microwave, and it will not replace a properly sized lithium bank in a caravan. What it does do is take all the small loads off that bank, and give you a portable, self-contained supply you can carry to the tent, the boat or the braai.

The single most useful accessory is a portable solar panel. The two-way DC port accepts up to 100W, which fully refills the unit in three to four hours of good Cape or Karoo sun — that turns a three-day reserve into an indefinite one on a long tour. Note that the DC port and the USB-C (1) port cannot be used to charge the unit at the same time, so pick one input source.
For CPAP use, buy the machine-specific 12V adapter rather than running the machine through an inverter, and switch the heater and humidifier off. That is where the runtime comes from, and it is the difference between one night and two.
If you are pairing it with a fridge, the power bank is a bridge rather than a substitute for a house bank. Around 16 hours of fridge runtime is genuinely useful as a buffer, in transit or at a tent camp away from the caravan, but a multi-day unpowered trip still wants a proper lithium bank with solar or DC-DC recharge behind it.
Note that it cannot be recharged from a vehicle cigarette-lighter socket, and no vehicle charging cable is supplied. Recharge from mains, from a PD charger or from solar.

Can I take this on a plane?
No. Airlines cap carry-on lithium batteries at 100Wh without special approval, and this unit is rated at 266Wh. If you need a power bank for flying, you want something under 100Wh — ask us and we will point you at the right one.
Will it run my CPAP machine overnight?
For most machines, yes, using the correct 12V adapter on the cigarette-lighter socket and with the heater and humidifier turned off. Renogy list compatibility with common Philips DreamStation and ResMed AirSense, AirCurve 10 and S9 units. Send us your model and we will confirm the adapter and give you a realistic runtime figure.
How long will it run a 12V camping fridge?
Renogy quote around 16 hours with their portable refrigerators. Real-world runtime depends on ambient temperature and how often the lid is opened, so treat that as a good-conditions number and budget conservatively on a hot Kalahari day.
Can I recharge it from my vehicle while driving?
Not from a cigarette-lighter socket — Renogy specifically exclude that, and no vehicle charging cable is supplied. Recharge it from mains, from a 60W USB-C PD charger, or from a solar panel through the DC port. On tour, solar is the practical answer.
Is this big enough to replace a caravan battery?
No, and we would rather say so upfront. At 266Wh it is roughly a 22Ah battery at 12V — excellent for devices, a CPAP machine or a short fridge stint, but not a house bank. If you want to run a fridge, lights and a water pump for days at a time, you need a proper LiFePO4 bank and we will happily spec one.
