Optional Fitment & Upgrade Notes

The bracket is only as good as the bond, so surface preparation is everything. Clean the roof back to sound material, degrease it, abrade where the adhesive manufacturer says to, and use a structural adhesive rated for the roof material and for permanent outdoor UV exposure. Do not use a general-purpose silicone. Let the adhesive cure fully before driving, not just before it feels firm. Think about cable entry at the same time: if you have avoided drilling for the brackets, use a proper waterproof roof gland for the cable rather than undoing all your good work with a rough hole. On very large panels or heavily corrugated routes, additional mid-span support may be worth discussing.

Do I really not need to drill?
Correct, that is the point of the design. The brackets bond to the roof with structural adhesive. Surface preparation and the right adhesive are what make it hold.

Which adhesive should I use?
It depends on your roof material. Talk to us with the make of your caravan or the roof construction and we will point you at something appropriate rather than guessing.

Will it hold at highway speed?
Properly bonded to a well-prepared surface, yes. The low profile keeps wind load down. A poorly prepared bond is what fails, not the bracket.

Will these fit my panel?
They are made for framed rigid panels and use the frame's existing mounting holes. Send us your panel model and we will confirm.

Can I use them on a flexible panel?
No. Flexible panels have no frame to bolt to and are bonded directly. These brackets are for rigid framed modules.
