If you want to get off the tar and camp properly without towing a full-size caravan, the Silverback Lunar is built for you. It is a compact off-road camper with a lift-up roof over the bed, a side scullery for cooking and washing up, a fridge slide and two drawers under the bed — and this fully specified build adds the tent, power, hot-water and kitchen options that turn a weekend camper into a comfortable long-route camper.

A scullery that works like a real kitchen

The side scullery opens up with gas-strut lids into shelved storage and a working area with two water mixers, with 12V plugs for a fridge and deep-freeze built in. The fridge slide puts your fridge within easy reach, and this build adds a 55L fridge/freezer, a 20L fridge/freezer, a kitchen box on the front side for a second cooking and prep station and a loose gas burner. Plates, cups and glasses are included.

Sleep, store and stay organised

A carpeted bed platform sits under the lift-up roof, with a second door for easy access and two drawers under the bed for bedding and gear. Interior lights, two outside lights and a travel blanket come as standard, so the Lunar is ready to camp from the first night.

Power, water and hot showers

A 100Ah lithium battery, a fuse box with switches and three USB chargers keep your gear running, and this build adds a 200Ah lithium battery, a 495W solar panel with a Victron MPPT 100/30 controller, a Victron 30A smart charger and 220V plugs with an inlet box. Water comes from a 150L tank with a pump, a water meter and two mixers, and a Hansen gas/electric 220V geyser and shower cubicle with mixer give you hot showers.

Tent, awning and shade

The tent package on this build includes an awning with a front drop side and lights, front and rear shade-net drop sides, a draught skirt, two door canvas storage pockets and a spare wheel cover. Custom and other tent and electrical options are available on request.
