The Alu-Cab Canopy Camper Deluxe is Alu-Cab's complete, one-piece camper with shade and storage already sorted, here in black for extra-cab / long-bed bakkies. It is the Basic camper with a Shadow Awning, rear-door canvas bags and rear MOLLE plates added. It suits the Toyota Hilux extra cab (Vigo and Revo), and with the right fit kit it also fits the other extra cabs and long beds listed below.
DC/SB and XC/LB units also fit other bakkies — ask us.
Standard: included in the price
- Canopy and two-sleeper tent built as one unit, in black
- Double-layer 400 gsm UV-resistant ripstop canvas tent with top and bottom foam insulation
- 70 mm high-density foam mattress with zip-off cover (main bed 2075 × 1225 mm)
- Gull-wing side doors on both sides and a full vertical rear door (takes up to a 33″ spare wheel)
- Tent access: 3 external points and 1 internal point from the canopy
- 7 lights: 1 in the roof, 1 under the bed, 3 at the doors and 2 stalk lights
- Internal USB and Type-C charging points, including a USB port in the bed section
- Solar panel wiring installed (panel not included)
- Shoe bag fitted on the roof

- Fit kits are available for: Ford Ranger extra cab 2012 to 2021 and 2022 to present; Ford Ranger USA long bed 2019 to present; Isuzu D-Max extra cab 2020 to present; Chevrolet Colorado USA long bed (Gen 2) 2015 to 2022; Toyota Hilux extra cab (Vigo 2005 to 2015, Revo 2015 to present); Toyota Tacoma long bed (Gen 2, Gen 3 and Gen 4). Ask us to confirm the kit for your exact model and year.
- This is the extra-cab / long-bed unit. Double cabs use a different unit.
- The mounting hardware connects directly to the load bed, so a bed liner has to be removed or modified.
- Free delivery from Alu-Cab to our Bellville workshop for fitment.

Choosing your Alu-Cab camper
Alu-Cab makes two campers. The Canopy Camper is a complete one-piece unit: canopy and two-sleeper tent built as one, with lights, USB charging and solar wiring included. It comes as the Basic, or as the Deluxe with a Shadow Awning, rear-door canvas bags and rear MOLLE plates added. The ModCAP Camper is modular: a ModCAP base with a removable two-sleeper tent. The tent swaps with a flat roof, so the same base works as a canopy or a camper.
