Alu-Cab ModCAP Camper Tent Filler & Mount — Double Cab

Short Product Summary

This is the tent filler and mount for the double cab Alu-Cab ModCAP Camper. The ModCAP Camper is a modular system: you start with a flat roof and later add a tent with interior access. The base and the tent are separate parts.

Part of the ModCAP Camper Kit: this filler and mount comes with the base, tent and Hilux fit kit in the ModCAP Camper Kit for the Toyota Hilux (Double Cab R 183 480).

Why This Product

The ModCAP Camper is built to grow with you. You can run a flat roof first and add the camper tent when you are ready to sleep on the roof, and the filler and mount is the part that lets a tent sit on the double cab base. Buying in stages spreads the cost and keeps the option open.

Key Features

• Tent filler and mount – the part that ties the tent to the double cab ModCAP base
• Modular system – the tent and flat roof are interchangeable
• Two-sleeper camper – the roof and base together give a tent with interior access
• 150 kg roof load rating – for the ModCAP Camper roof system
• Integrated rooftop rails – listed as part of the ModCAP Camper design
• Grows with you – start with the base and add the tent later

Ideal For

• Double cab owners planning a ModCAP Camper who want the tent mounting hardware for the double cab base
• Buyers building up in stages flat roof first, tent later
• Overlanders needing a two-person roof camper with access from inside the vehicle

Optional Fitment / Upgrade Notes

Before you order, check the following:

• This is the tent filler and mount for the double cab. The extra cab and the full-size short and long versions have their own part numbers, and the Land Cruiser 79 double cab has its own filler and mount (CC2-A-BO-LCD-TFM).
• The ModCAP base and the tent are separate parts, so ask us for the full parts list for your vehicle.
• Short-bed and long-bed pickups such as the Tacoma, Colorado and Frontier appear in the same fitment list; ask us which filler suits your bed length.
• Professional fitting is strongly recommended for anything mounted on the roof. ModCAP fitment at our Bellville workshop is R 7 995 excl. VAT (R 9 194 incl.).

Choosing your Alu-Cab camper

Alu-Cab makes two campers. The Canopy Camper is a complete one-piece unit: canopy and two-sleeper tent built as one, with lights, USB charging and solar wiring included. It comes as the Basic, or as the Deluxe with a Shadow Awning, rear-door canvas bags and rear MOLLE plates added. The ModCAP Camper is modular: a ModCAP base with a removable two-sleeper tent, joined by a filler and mount like this one. The tent swaps with a flat roof, so the same base works as a canopy or a camper.

Fitment by 4Matt in Bellville: R 4 995 excl. VAT (Canopy Camper) / R 7 995 excl. VAT (ModCAP).
