Alu-Cab ModCAP Camper Tent Filler & Mount — Extra Cab

Short Product Summary

This is the tent filler and mount for the extra cab Alu-Cab ModCAP Camper. It is the extra cab counterpart of the double cab part, and the base and the tent are separate items.

Part of the ModCAP Camper Kit: this filler and mount comes with the base, tent and Hilux fit kit in the ModCAP Camper Kit for the Toyota Hilux (Extra Cab R 190 480).

Why This Product

An extra cab has a different bed layout from a double cab, so the ModCAP Camper needs a filler and mount made for it. This part lets the two-sleeper tent sit on the extra cab base, whether you fit it now or later.

Key Features

• Tent filler and mount – ties the tent to the extra cab ModCAP base
• Extra cab version – separate from the double cab and full-size parts
• Modular system – the tent and flat roof are interchangeable
• Two-sleeper camper – the roof and base give a tent with interior access
• 150 kg roof load rating – for the ModCAP Camper roof system

Ideal For

• Extra cab owners planning a ModCAP Camper who need the mounting hardware for the extra cab base
• Buyers who want to fit the tent later after starting with the flat roof
• Couples who want a roof tent with inside access on an extra cab pickup

Choosing your Alu-Cab camper

Alu-Cab makes two campers. The Canopy Camper is a complete one-piece unit: canopy and two-sleeper tent built as one, with lights, USB charging and solar wiring included. It comes as the Basic, or as the Deluxe with a Shadow Awning, rear-door canvas bags and rear MOLLE plates added. The ModCAP Camper is modular: a ModCAP base with a removable two-sleeper tent, joined by a filler and mount like this one. The tent swaps with a flat roof, so the same base works as a canopy or a camper.

Fitment by 4Matt in Bellville: R 4 995 excl. VAT (Canopy Camper) / R 7 995 excl. VAT (ModCAP).

FAQ

Does this include the tent or the base?
No. This is the filler and mount only; the base and tent are separate.

Is it the same part as the double cab one?
No. The extra cab and double cab each have their own filler and mount.

Can I fit the tent later?
Yes. The ModCAP is modular, so a flat roof can be swapped for the tent.

How heavy is the extra cab base?
It weighs approximately 85 kg, and the tent approximately 140 kg.
